Originally built for the Kemp Manufacturing Company in
1903, this six storey structure was designed by J. H. Cadham
and built by P. Burnett at a cost of $45,000.
The company
manufactured sheet metal products, and in 1906 commissioned
Cadham to design an addition measuring 53 feet by 124
feet. P. Burnett was the contractor on this addition, as
well.
